Meet the Academy Improvement Board (AIB)
What is an AIB?
| Academy Improvement Board An AIB is a small body appointed on a short-term basis by a Trust to turn around a school that is judged to be in need of improvement. An AIB replaces the local governing body of a school. |
| The AIB's main functions are to secure a sound basis for future improvement in the school and promote high standards of educational achievement. |
